All You Need to Know about Our Beer
All
types of our beer are brewed right on the
spot, in the area of less than 14 square metres in an old house with
the traditional right of brewing. We use raw materials of the top
quality in strict adherence to “Reinheitsgebot” (purity directive) of
1516, that is merely hop, malt, and natural water.
Brewing liquor is by volume the
most important
raw material for beer production. The liquor quality is strictly
controlled. The characteristic beer flavour is, obviously, dependent on
liquor used.
Genuine „brewing barley“ is the basic raw
material for
our malts, specifically its select sorts from the famous Haná region
(central Moravia).
In this
component, too, we charily care for quality. As
early as at the stage of malt selection, we are thoughtfully laying
down the foundations of our beer foam high quality and stability.
Hop< contributes to the foam, aromatic and incommutably delicious
bitterish flavour of our beer. Hop is the seasoner of beer. Its
bitter substances and essential oils are crucial for our product’s
final quality. Active substance lupulin is responsible for the foam as
well as for the calming and “drowsy” effects of beer. (Exclusively, the
aromatic Žatec hop sort is used for production.)
Yeast is
important for the natural form of
fermentation. The carbon dioxide produced by yeast enhances our beer
with the crisp, fresh flavour.
We wish you enjoyable savouring of pale
“Classic”,
perhaps also a pint of dark “Elizabeth’s Royal”, or maybe wheat pale
“The White of Hradec”.
Other special beer types are brewed seasonally.
